Elliott Aviation is giving away a pair of aviator sunglasses to those who want to watch the video below.

The glasses can be purchased at a discount from an online store for €100.

There’s an additional $30 fee for the glasses on top of that price.

If you don’t already have an Elliot Aviation account, you’ll need to sign up for one.

Elliots are a small family business based in Newry.

Elliott’s founder, Dave Purdie, said the glasses were a “great way to show off our technology and our expertise”.

“They are extremely light weight and comfortable to wear and can be worn anywhere you go,” he said.

“The images will make your eyes feel like they are in the cockpit of an aircraft and you will look good, too.”

Purdie said he’s been working on the glasses for around a year.

“There are a lot of people out there who are using our glasses but we’re working on getting them to you,” he explained.

“We are offering a $100 discount and you can pick one up online for $100.”

Puddie said the idea behind the glasses came from watching the video of an ELLIOT aircraft on display in New York.

“It was quite cool to see how it worked,” he continued.

“It’s an innovative way to showcase what we’re capable of.”

I think there are a couple of things that we are working on right now, but I think the next step is to put the goggles on people in our team.

“For those wanting to give the glasses a go, Purdy said it’s worth checking out the Elliotham Aviation website to see if the glasses are suitable for you.”

You can do that for free if you like but you can only do it once and then you’ll be going through the application process again,” he added.
